JAMMU, Apr 9: Bahu Fort Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 11 years.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2011.
The accused was identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Bhore Camp District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 200/2009 under Sections 382 and 34 RPC with Police Station Bahu Fort. It is pertinent to mention here that the absconder was evading his arrest in trial court of Sub Judge Judicial Magistrate 1st class.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
