POONCH, May 21: The police claimed to have arrested an absconder from Mandi area, who was evading his arrest for the last about 10 years.
Official sources said that Mandi Police led by SHO Ravinder Rakwal, on the basis of intelligence inputs succeeded in arresting an absconder namely, Zahid Parvez Lone, son of Gulam Mohd Lone, resident of Gagrian, Tehsil Mandi today. He was wanted in case FIR No. 20/2009 u/s 411/RPC. The said Absconder was arrested after 10 years of commission of offense as he has escaped to Mumbai and had returned recently from there.
