JAMMU, Apr 22: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last over 14 years.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah police station led by SHO Deepak Pathania conducted a raid and arrested the absconder.
The absconder identified as Gole Ram, son of Lal Chand, resident of Ratnal, Bishnah was involved in a theft case, the case of which was registered at Nagrota police station in the year 1999, he said.
The absconder was later handed over to Nagrota police for further investigation, he added.
