JAMMU, June 18: Jourian police nabbed an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Puran Chand, a resident of Jad Morha, District Jammu.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 33/2004 under Section 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Jourian Police Post SI Anil Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shivdev Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Munish Kumar and SP Rural Jammu Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
