JAMMU, Oct 12: Pacca Danga Police arrested an absconding fraudster, who was evading his arrest from the past one year.
As per police sources, information was received at Police Station Pacca Danga regarding a person namely Babu Ram of Sandal Jhajjar Kotli, who used to dupe people by giving them assurance of providing jobs.
Acting over the information, a case under FIR Number 48/2020 under Section 420 IPC was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Pacca Danga was constituted under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of inputs from local sources finally arrested the accused from Jhajjar Kotli area.
It is pertinent to mention that accused was evading arrest from last one year.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
