JAMMU, Aug 9: A massive “Yuva Lalkaar rally” was organized by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Purkhoo unit in which large number of students, youth and local people participated. The rally was organised against terrorism, separatism, drug addiction, anti-national and anti-social elements.
The rally started from Shiv Mandir Purkhoo and after passing through the local market and streets of Purkhoo and culminated at Purkhoo Camp, Gumpul Domana.
During the rally procession of ABVP activists were shouting slogans like Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Matram ABVP Ka Yehi Hai Naara; Aatankmukt Ho Bharat Humara.
Speaking on the Occasion, ABVP J&K State oganizing scretary Pawan Sharma showed serious concern against terrorism, separatism, drug addiction, Anti-social, anti-national elements. He said that people of the State especially youth are fighting against terrorism and separatism since a long time and after the fight of so many years, the situation in Jammu-Kashmir was improving towards normallcy. But the recent terrorist attacks in Chenani and Basantghar of Udhampur district and some places in Kashmir as created a threat to life of common people in the State.
