ACC Udhampur wins cricket title

RAMNAGAR, May 1: Trouncing Administration Udhampur convincingly in the summit clash, Amateur Cricket Club (ACC) Udhampur won the cricket title, here today.
Earlier, after winning the toss AU chose to bat first and scored 129 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.
From AU side, Vikram and Ashwani made 34 and 28 runs respectively. For ACC, Parul Singh took 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave away 20 runs. Nipun and Sunil also bowled well and picked up 2 wickets each.
While chasing target, ACC scored 130 runs in 18.1 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Binny was the top scorer with 35 runs, while  Nipun and Asif contributed 24 and 21 runs to the total respectively.
From AU, Sohan and Ashwani took 1 wicket each.
The arrangements for the final match were made by SSP Udhampur, Shailendra Mishra, who also helped the Association in holding other matches.
Arif Tak, Naib Tehsildar was the guest of honour, while DySP Deepak Digra and SHO Ramnagar Irfan were present on the occasion.
Vijay Sallan, Vikram Singh Jammu, Raj Kapoor, SS Builder Ramnagar, Sanjay Rasal, Manu Cement, Raina Contractor and Punit Gupta were the sponsors of the Tournament, while Tahir (Tipu), Surinder, Rohit and Gurdeep were the organizers.
