JAMMU, Aug 20: AIIMS Coordination Committee has rejected the claims and assertions of BJP that the resumption of work by Bar Association Jammu is a vindication of BJP’s stand.
“Instead, it ridiculed BJP and made it clear that the BJP justified the struggle of people of Jammu spearheaded by ACC to achieve what BJP has bartered away for petty gains and lust for power”, said Chairman AIIMS CC and president JKHCBA, Jammu, Abhinav Sharma, Paviter Singh, Retd Session Judge, K B Jandial (retd IAS officer), Inderjeet Khajuria, Naryan Singh, M S Katoch, Avinash Bakshi  and M L Sharma while addressing a joint press conference.
Stating that nothing less than issuance of notification for AIIMS in Jammu would be accepted by the people of Jammu province, they warned the BJP against betrayal on Jammu AIIMS and cautioned them against hoodwinking and confusing the people.
They said that the dignity of Jammu will be maintained at all costs and no force of whatsoever strength will be allowed to play with people’s aspiration. The ACC made it clear that the people of Jammu would not rest unless AIIMS is established in Jammu and it should be reflected in any notification or order issued by Govt of India under the amended AIIMS Act.
