JAMMU, Aug 8: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, a 21-year-old youth namely Charanjeet Singh, son of Subhash Chander, resident of Kathua, was shifted with serious injuries here at GMCH on August 2 after a bike on which he was travelling, got slipped at Bari-Brahmana.
However, the youth succumbed to his injuries today at about 9 AM. “After postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
