JAMMU, July 17: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
“Surjeet Kumar (45) son of Janak Raj, resident of Kanal (Bishnah) was received serious injuries last night when a bike on which he was travelling from Satwari towards Gangyal, rammed into a tipper from backside,” a police official said.
He said Surjeet was immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu but there he succumbed to his injuries today at about 9: 50 AM. “After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Satwari and investigation started,” the official added.
