JAMMU, July 26: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
“Mukhtyar Singh (50) son of Amir Chand, resident of Manta (Udhampur) was shifted here at GMCH on Saturday after he received serious injuries in a road accident at Bali Nallah Morh (Udhampur),” a police official said.
He said Mukhtyar passed away today at 12.25 PM during treatment. “After postmortem, his body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while Udhampur police had taken cognizance of the matter,” the official added.
