JAMMU, Nov 6: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today
The deceased has been identified as Jagtar Singh (26) son of Anant Singh of Akhnoor, a police official said. He said that the Jagtar had received serious injuries in a road accident occurred yesterday near Akhnoor bridge falling under the limits of police station Gharota.
“He was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries today at about 4:13 pm,” the official said, adding, the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem. Gharota police had taken cognizance of the matter, he further added.
