JAMMU, Apr 2: A labourer, who was injured in a mishap while working at a stone crusher in Akhnoor area, today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
“Suram Chand (38) son of Chamail Chand, resident of Sunail (Akhnoor) had received serious injuries while working at a stone crusher in Akhnoor area on March 29 and was shifted to GMCH for treatment on the same day”, a police spokesman said.
However, the labourer succumbed to his injuries today at about 3.10 PM. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
