JAMMU, Jan 16: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, an unknown man of age about 30 years was shifted yesterday here at GMCH with serious injuries after being hit by an unknown vehicle at Kunjwani.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 12.30 am. Later, the deceased was identified as Vilter alias Lambu resident of Jharkhand. He was presently residing at Kashmir Rolling Mills.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
