JAMMU, Sept 17: RS Pura police arrested a person, who was evading his arrest in attempt to murder case registered around six months back.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from RS Pura police station conducted raid in Dablehar area and arrested a person, who was on large in the attempt to murder case registered on March 13, 2015.
The accused has been identified as Jatinder Kumar alias Vipan Esai, son of Bila Esai, a resident of ward number 10, RS Pura.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 43/15 under Section 307, 147 and 148 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with RS Pura police station.
The accused was produced before JMIC RS Pura and was remanded to eight days police custody.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura police station Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Randheer Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
