Accused involved in attempt to murder case arrested

REASI, Feb 5: Police arrested an accused who was involved in attempt to murder case.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of February 4 and 5, a youth identified as Sahil Singh (19), son of Late Lehar Singh of Nai Basti District Reasi attacked with sharp edge weapon and critically injured another youth namely Nitin Singh alias Saajan, son of Sanjay Singh of Nai Basti District Reasi at Fast Food Shop at Nai Basti and escaped from the spot.
The injured person was shifted to hospital and a case under FIR Number 9/2020 under section 307 and 452 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act got registered at Police Station and hunt was launched to arrest the accused.
After hectic efforts, a team from Police Station Reasi arrested the accused from Mari area of District Reasi during wee hours.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
