ACM School Janipur celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Apr 24: ACM Public School Janipur, Jammu celebrated its annual day with pomp and show at Police Auditorium, here today.
MLA Sat Sharma, State president BJP Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Maj General GS Jamwal Ex-MLC, president JKESL was the guest of honour.
Chairman of the School, Manohar Lal Babbar and vice chairman, Nirmal Babbar were also present on the occasion.
The programme started with Saraswati Vandana by young toddlers, seeking blessing from Goddesses in sweet and heart touching tone.
This was followed by lighting of traditional lamp signaling spread of light through education and knowledge; disappearance of darkness and ignorance.
Saiema Qureshi, Principal of ACM Public School informed about facilities being provided to the students with regard to quality education.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Sat Sharma applauded the achievements and the contribution of the school in the field of education and other activities.
He said, education is potent tool for grooming children so that they become responsible citizens of the nation, while the guest of honour, stressed for inculcating the moral values among the students.
The function also witnessed the distribution of certificates among the students who excelled in co-curricular and academics.
A colourful cultural programme presented by the students was the main highlight of the function.
The vote of thanks was presented by Chairman M L Babbar.
