An act of gratitude

Sir,
In  China Japan war of 1942, many Chinese soldiers fell sick and got injured . One Indian  physician Dr. Kotins put in his best in treating Chinese soldiers. While treating them day in and day out, Kotins died. See the Chinese tradition of expressing gratitude. Whenever any Chinese leader visits India , he sees to it that he pays a visit to the immediate relatives of Dr. Kotins. President Xi Jingpin did the same.  Dr. Kotins is highly respected and remembered in China. Should we take a lesson from the Chinese?
Yours etc…..
