SRINAGAR, Oct 10: Legislative Assembly, Deputy Speaker, Nazir Ahmad Khan (Gurezi) today directed the Government to act tough against officials for providing “unsatisfactory” answers to questions raised during the Assembly session.
Scores of MLAs from ruling as well as opposition parties have been complaining of having received unsatisfactory answers to the questions they had put for the Government reply.
“We have seen many incidents during the ongoing Assembly session that many of the members complain of receiving either unsatisfactory answers or answers not on facts,” Deputy Speaker said in the Legislative Assembly.
Mr Gurezi reacted after MLA Ravinder Raina complained of having received unsatisfactory answer to the queries raised by him regarding the issues pertaining to his constituency.
