JAMMU, Nov 28: ‘The Thinking Actor’-an intensive acting workshop culminated here today at Natrang Studio.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur complemented the participants who got trained from the learned and experienced mentors and asserted that this endeavour of Natrang has certainly yielded fruitful result in the overall growth of the young theatre aspirants of Jammu.
The show began with an intense nine emotion series called ‘Navras Abhyas’ which was demonstrated beautifully by a batch of nine actors.
This was followed by a presentation of a scene work, ‘The Methods’ based on a story of Anton Chekhov and directed by National School of Drama alumni, Bhasha Sumbli and Sunil Soni.
The artists who participated in the presentation were Mahikshit Singh, Shivam Singh, Priya Sharma, Meenakshi Bhagat, Gautam Sharma, Diksha Pandita, Sagar Gupta, Kushal Bhat, Abhinav Sharma, Bhawani Singh Bali, Mohit Kaul, Prohitdeep Singh, Bhabik Sambyal, Palshi Dutta and Kajal Pandita.
Lights of the play were designed and operated by Bhasha Sumbli whereas the set design and the sound were operated by Sunil Soni.
The presentation was coordinated by Neeraj Kant, Mohd. Yaseen and Brijesh Avtar Sharma.
