KISHTWAR, Nov 3: Adarsh Bal Niketan High School today celebrated its 59th Annual Day.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, who lightened the traditional lamp along with the Principal and Executive Members of the School.
While speaking on the occasion, DDC stated that the educational institutions are granaries where future of society is nurtured to shoulder the responsibilities of nation building in varied fields of human endeavour.
He asked the students to refrain themselves from the drug abuse and other ill activities. He also asked them to work hard and strive for the nation and prove their mettle in various fields.
He asked the Committee Members of the school to put their best efforts and effective measures for bringing about more effective improvements in the school so that the common objective of shaping the destiny of children and making them useful citizens for the society could be achieved.
Children attired in colourful dresses presented various cultural items including Saraswati Vandana and mesmerized the audience with their performances.
Principal of the School, Rajesh Chander in his welcome address, gave details of the endeavours made by the institution in imparting quality education to the children.
CEO Kishtwar Kuldeep Sharma, President Managing Committee of the School Ramesh Chander Sen and Vice President Roshan Lal Parihar also spoke on the occasion.
Among others present were Deputy CEO Rajinder Sen, Principal GHS Kishtwar, Kishori lal, AD Planning, Manish Manhas, prominent Singers Nisar Doolwal, Abdul Rashid Dev, Suresh Kumar, Mubashar Haider, parents of students.
