SAMBA, Apr 8: IQAC Cell of Adarsh College of Education, Tarore, Samba held Extension Lecture on the topic, “Approaches to Lesson Planning-Herbartian and RCEM” in the College premises, here today.
Dr Rajinder Kaur, Assistant Professor in English, Government PG College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu was the resource person on the occasion.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries on the occasion.
College Administrator, Rahul Kapoor, presented welcome address, wherein he highlighted the importance of such lectures for teacher trainees to impart quality education.
Then, resource person Rajinder Kaur delivered the lecture on the topic and expressed her valuable guidelines regarding the necessity of planning a lesson for teacher trainee and steps involved in planning a good lesson plan. She discussed both the approaches-Herbartian as well as RCEM and gave valuable tips regarding the preparation of an effective lesson plan.
An interactive session was also organized, wherein students and the teachers were involved in order to improve their knowledge.
Later-on, Poonam Chib, Principal, presented vote of thanks.
