JAMMU, Apr 28: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) has appealed the Government to implement the orders of State High Court (HC) regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at the earliest.
The issue came up for discussion during a joint meeting of the representatives of ADCSA held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president of the association. The meeting discussed the future course of action after the judgement of the State High Court in which it directed the Government to remove the pay anomalies of clerical cadre of all departments.
All the representatives in one voice appealed the Government to implement the orders of High Court vide SWP No 3058/2015, MP No 01/2015 in letter and spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre.
The meeting said the High Court had given two-month time to the Government to remove the pay anomalies of the clerical cadre but even after the lapse of the given time period nothing has been said or done in the case except forming a committee vide Order No 420- GAD of 2016 dated 21-04-2016 to implement the orders of the High Court, which is just another attempt to befool the clerical cadre and to delay the procedure, as no specific time frame has been given to the committee to submit the report.
The association appealed Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, to direct the newly formed Pay Anomalies Committee to submit the report within 15 days and remove the anomalies of the clerical cadre before the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendation to avoid further disparity with the employees of clerical cadre.
