ADEWA Day observed

JAMMU, June 22: Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) Day was observed at Krishi Bhawan, Talab Tillo today. The day was observed in memory of Bal Krishan Tutoo the then SDAO Chadura, Budgam who was killed by militants at his house in Srinagar in 1990.
The Day was also dedicated to migrant Agriculture Technocrats who died over these years after the mass exodus from Valley.
On the occasion Avtar Krishan Bhat , treasurer ADEWA read a paper and highlighted the significance of ADEWA Day.
Dr Manoj Nazir chairman ADEWA informed that Shibhit University of Meerut UHS Bagalkot and UHS Bangalore (Karnataka) have instituted three awards on the name of Ball Krishan Tutoo, O N Kaul and S K Handoo.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ravi Ji Pandita and Ashok Raina managed the stage.
