JAMMU, Jan 31: Additional Director General of Police, Armed, J&K, SJM Gillani has ordered promotion of 366 police personnel.
As per a statement, the promotion orders of one ASI and 365 Head Constables to the posts of SI and ASIs were issued after the DPC headed by ADGP Armed assessed the cases of eligible ASIs & HCs and found them fit for promotion to their next ranks in light of the relevant promotion norms.
The ADGP congratulated the newly promoted SIs and ASIs and hoped that they will demonstrate discipline, hard work, and dedication towards their assignment and always come up to the expectations of the people.
Meanwhile, the police officer said that promotion process of SgCTs and Constables of J&K Armed Police is also under process in the Armed Police Headquarters.
