Srinagar, Mar 25: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Training today inaugurated a Volleyball tournament at Commando Training Centre (CTC) Lethpora and also distributed uniform and stationary among orphan children.
ADGP Training, Naveen Agarwal, said a total of 8 school teams are participating in the Volleyball event. He said the event is aimed at channelizing the talent of youths in positive direction.
“There is lot of talent in youth and we want to engage them in constructive works instead of them getting hunted by negative works,” he said.
On the occasion, the ADGP Training also distributed uniform, stationary and computers among 22 orphan children. He said the Police Department is for the welfare of people and sought cooperation of people in carrying out welfare activities.
