JAMMU, June 10: Aditya Mahajan from the class 12 of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu has brought laurels to the school. He was selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir in 56th National School Games in Bhopal.
Aditya’s exceptional skills and unwavering dedication have led him to be selected for the national level football championship. His journey began when he represented the school in the inter-school competition, where his progress caught the attention of selectors. From there, he progressed through the ranks, earning a spot in the district level team, mentioned in a handout issued by the school.
His outstanding performance in the district level competition opened the doors for him at the division level, where he showcased his remarkable talent once again. And now, Aditya has been selected to play for the Jammu and Kashmir team. His selection is a testament to his hard work, perseverance, and commitment to the sport.
While Speaking to Excelsior, his coach, Rohit Kumar Gupta said, “Aditya is selected for the J & K team for the 56th National School Games, which are underway in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 10 to 13 June.”
