JAMMU, Dec 25: All Displaced Kashmiri Pandit United Forum held a meeting under the chairmanship of DN Kissu and discussed various problems being faced by Kashmiri Pandits.
While speaking, Kissu demanded setting up of minority commission for redressing the issues of the Kashmiri Pandit community. Judicial commission should be frames to find the reasons behind displacing the minority community from their home and herth, he added.
He demanded minority status for KP community, comprehensive return and rehabilitation policy, political presence in the Government, regular power supply in view of forthcoming exams of students, regular water supply, enhancement in cash assistance and implementation of Prime Minister’s employment package.
The front has also extended full support to PN Bhat Memorial Trust for its struggle to get Temples and Shrines Bill passed in the Assembly.
The front also appointed BN Bhat as vice chairman, CL Zutshi as incharge of Durga Nagar Sector 1, KL Dhar as incharge Buta Nagar and Paloura, Bal Ji Pandita as organizer and ML Koul as cashier.
Among others present were GL Koul, Chief Advisor, Rahul Dass, Nana Ji Bhan and PN Raina, general secretary.
