JAMMU, June 10: President of Consumer Welfare Association (CWA) Jammu, Chander Parkash Sharma alleged that the Jammu Administration has failed to address the public issues.
It was stated by him after the meeting of the office bearers which was held virtually, here today. The members of the organisation raised various issues related to general public during the meeting including irrational rates being charged by the Pathological Labs, Unscheduled power curtailment, Ayushman Cards, Domicile issues, Ration Card and many others.
They alleged that irrational rates are being charged by Pathological labs for various tests from the gullible people while the Administration fixed some rates for the same tests. “However various complaints have been received by the District Administration in this regard so far but failed to take action against them.
“Govt should issue Ayushman Bharat cards to the residents of J&K UT at larger level, so that everyone will get the benefits of the PM Health Insurance Scheme,” they demanded.
They also demanded that Govt should also issues new ration cards as per domicile certificates issued by competent Authority recently.
Er SK Gupta, Rajinder Parshad Kakkar, Bansi Lal Cherwoo, Prem Gupta, JK Khajuria and Rama Anand were prominent members of the Association who participated in the meeting virtually.
