JAMMU, Oct 27: Five day long Adventure camp organised at Heritage School concluded today.
The camp was organized with the objectives of developing leadership qualities, inculcating survival skills and instilling a sense of adventure in the students.
The camp was organised in association with AIMS, an adventure camp organizer, in which students of classes III to VI had a mesmerising experience of overnight stay at the camp, where as students of classes I, II and Kindergarten also attended day camps.
The camp included a host of activities like rappelling, zorbing, double trouble, knot tying, burma bridge, commando bridge, tug of war, tyre crossing, rope climbing, tarzen swing, balance walk, net climbing, tent pitching.
The students were also introduced to disaster management and river crossing techniques.
The students who participated in over-night camp also enjoyed bonfire at night.
The camp activities were punctuated with a music and dance routine to keep up the enthusiasm level of the participants.
Over 600 students participated in the camp with zeal and enthusiasm and displayed tremendous confidence, determination, will power and vigour.
