JAMMU, Jan 10: Four persons including an advocate were today booked by RS Pura police for chain snatching.
Police sources said that on the complaint of Advocate Kesar Praveen wife of Sham Lal Gorkha, resident of Jinder Melu (RS Pura), a case FIR under Sections 323, 382, 504, 506/34 IPC have been registered at police station RS Pura, against a female advocate and three others.
Sources said, in her complaint, the complainant alleged that the accused stopped her way and after snatching her gold chain, fled away from the spot.
Pertinent to mention here that yesterday, the accused advocate had lodged a complaint with RS Pura police stating that Sham Lal Gorkha (husband of Advocate Kesar Praveen) tried to outrage her modesty at SDM Office RS Pura, following which a case under FIR Number 7/2021 under Sections 354 and 504 IPC was registered at police station RS Pura.
