Advocate Rohit engaged as counsel for country review under UN Convention

JAMMU, Sept 30: Advocate Rohit Kapoor has been engaged as counsel on legal issues involved during Country Review of India under UN Convention against corruption by the International Cooperation Division of Government of India.
According to the communiqué of Government of India, Advocate Rohit Kapoor will advise and give consultation on legal issues involved during Country Review of India under United Nation Convention against Corruption.
India is signatory to the convention and in first cycle of review India is being subjected to review of compliance to Chapter III and IV of the convention. This would involve gap analysis of the provisions of law in CrPC, IPC, PC Act, Company Act, Money Laundering Act etc to assess compliance to various provisions of the Convention.
