SRINAGAR, June 3: AFC Towheed defeated Kashmir Mughals ‘B’ FC by two goals to nil (2-0) in the ongoing ‘B’ Division Football League Tournament, being organized by the District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar at Polo Ground and Islamia College Ground, here.
The goal scorers from the winners were Rouf and Gulzar, while in another match at Polo Ground, Gang Ugh FC thrashed Narbal FC by a big margin of 9 goals (9-0). Shahid scored the first goal in 15th minute, Firdous pelted second and third goals in 26th and 31st minutes. Then Shahid again scored 4th and 5th goal for the team. Firoz scored 6th, while Owaise netted 7th and 8th goal and finally Firdouse pelted the 9th goal in 59th minute of the match.
At Islamia College, Kashmir Sports FC held Aluchi Bagh FC to (0-0) draw, while in another match at the same venue, Greenwood School blanked Rawalpora FC by four goals to nil (4-0). Mazaffar scored 2 goals, while Tehzeem and Yasir netted 2 goals each.
