After guns, separatists handing over Pak flags to youth: BJP

SRINAGAR, June 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today slammed the separatists for hoisting Pakistan flags and “provoking” youth to participate in anti-India rallies.
In a statement here, the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said, “People who are hoisting these flags are trying to provoke the masses and the security forces. They want security forces to react so that separatists get a chance to encash it. They (separatists) are trying to make youth cannon-fodder to succeed in their designs.”
“Separatists first misled the youth by handing over Pakistani gun to them and now they are trying to give them Pakistan flags. Neither could Pakistani guns achieve anything nor would Pakistani flags achieve anything,” he said.
The BJP spokesman claimed that separatists are hoisting Pakistan flags to get their stipend enhanced. “Their mentors sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) have asked them to intensify their activities if they want to receive the hefty pay packets every month,” he added.
Jehangir said, “separatists should read the writing on the wall.
People want to live in peace and are fed up of violence. They have realized that Pakistani gun and Pakistani flags have brought nothing except destruction.”
The BJP spokesman said, “people in Jammu and Kashmir have realized that separatists are  on the payroll of Pakistan and they are trying to fuel unrest in Kashmir to appease their bosses who are sitting across the LoC.”
Jehangir said that “bold stand” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Jammu and Kashmir being an integral part of India has frustrated Pakistani leaders as they have been left “issueless.” “For the past 60 years Pakistan leaders have been hoodwinking their people on name of Kashmir. Now they are left with nothing that is why they are asking their agents to fuel unrest in Kashmir,” he added.
