After Jharkhand, Nadda inaugurates six newly constructed BJP district Offices in Haryana

NEW DELHI: BJP president J P Nadda on Wednesday inaugurated six newly constructed BJP District Offices in Haryana.

A day before, he  has inaugurated eight newly constructed BJP district offices in Jharkhand through video-conferencing.

In his address to party workers, Mr Nadda hailed the Manohar Lal Khattar government in Haryana.

”The government headed by Manohar Lal ji changed the image of Haryana and there is transparency in everything,” he said. He said earlier, Haryana was known for corruption, transfer industry and scams in recruitment, adding that powerful people went to jail in the recruitment scam.

Mr Nadda maintained that the work done under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the fate and image of the country has changed.

The image of India has changed at the international level, he maintained, adding that today, the world understands that India has transformed.

”Haryana has always been considered a sacred land for the BJP. Prime Minister Modi, started his election campaign from Rewari here,” he said, adding that after the formation of Modi government in 2014, the first regional government with full majority of BJP was formed in Haryana itself. He emphasised that having an office organises the work of the organization and also gives the workers a culture of work. ”Offices are central to rituals and customs. From there we also understand the working method,” he maintained. Mr Nadda said,” The Prime Minister had expressed a wish that we have come into the government through the party, now the party should also be strengthened.

”Therefore, it would be good that we make the office of the party at the state level in all the states and also at the district level.”

Mr Nadda pointed out that initially, the opposition used to make fun of PM Jan Dhan Yojana but today there are more than 40 lakh Jan Dhan account holders.

Listing the benefits doled out by the BJP led Centre, Mr Nadda said in the lockdown, the Prime Minister sent Rs 2,000 directly to the accounts of about 8.34 crore farmers and Rs 500 each to the bank accounts of women Jan Dhan account holders for three months.

BJP workers of Haryana Pradesh distributed 1.5 crore food packets, 16 lakh ration kits and 21 lakh face covers under the FeedTheNeedy program, he averred.

Around 20 lakh sanitizers were distributed to people, he added.

The BJP leader said Prime Minister Modi, along with the self-reliant India package, also gave the poor welfare package.

Under this, arrangements have been made to give 5 kg of wheat or rice and 1 kg of pulses free to 80 crore people till November, he said. (AGENCIES)
