JAMMU, Dec 12: Department of Agriculture, Reasi under the guidance of Chief Agriculture Officer, Onkar Singh Chowdary and SDAO, Mohan Lal Sharma organized a training programme for farmers at village Sujanpur.
On this occasion the Subject Matter Specialists of the Department, Neeraj Rajwal and Deepak Singh delivered technical lecture to 50 farmers.
Deepak Singh made the farmers aware about recent interventions in wheat production technology for increasing production of wheat. He said, farmers have to adopt new interventions made in the field of agriculture in order to get expected production.
Neeraj Rajwal made the farmers aware about importance of soil testing and use of balanced dose of fertilizer for restoring soil fertility and sustainable crop production.
Sushil Suri, AEO Pouni made the farmers aware about departmental schemes.
Sarpanch Kewal Krishan raised various issues related to farming community.
Among others JAEO, AEAs of zone Pouni and PRI members also participated in the programme.
