UDHAMPUR, Oct 13: Army Goodwill School (AGS), Naugam, which is being run under the aegis of Army Frontier Division, celebrated its Annual Day function here today.
Major General, Anil Chauhan, GOC, 19 infantry Division, was the chief guest. A large number of people including parents, staff and students gathered to witness the programme.
The chief guest also inaugurated a first of its kind education program called, “Teach Next” an Interactive class room.
A two minute’s silence was observed to pay homage to the tragic loss of lives in the recent calamity that struck the State. This was followed by a cultural programme by the students.
Prizes were also given away to the staff and deserving students. As a special prize, ‘Calling Tablets’ were awarded to students adjudged best in attendance, academics and co-curricular activities.
