AG’s XI beats Maharaja FC by 2:0 goals

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Ag’s XI trounced Kashmir Maharaja FC by 2 goals to nil in the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League-21, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The first match was played between AG’s XI and Kashmir Maharaja FC. Right from the start of the match AG’s XI tried to take the control of the game by displaying their quality Football and their moves were repulsed by the defenders of Maharaja FC. Hanan of AG’s XI scored back to back two splendid goals 16th and 19th minute and maintained the lead over their opponents.
In the 2nd half both the AG’s XI displayed quality Football and tried to dominate Maharaja FC but unfortunately failed to secure any goal till the last whistle blew by the referee and the match was won by Maharaja FC by 2-0 goals. Hanan of AG’s XI was declared as man of the match.
The 2nd match was played between JKSPDC XI and Kashmir Avenger FC. Kashmir Avenger FC took an initial goal in just the beginning of the match but later the match was abandoned due to poor light.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing ‘A’ Division Annual League Football tournament 2021, the match between Seven Star FC and Haroon FC ended with a 2:2 draw. The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
