KATHUA, Dec 31: All India Consumer Forum (AICF) today celebrated its annual day here.
The function in this regard was organised at Arya Samaj Kathua in which Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Integrated Watershed Management Programme J&K was chief guest and Shubh Karni, Sarpanch Panchayat Badala was guest of honour.
Bishan Bharti, president Arya Samaj Kathua presided over the function which started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and Sarswati Vandana.
Jagdish Raj, Forum district president highlighted activities of the Forum aimed at creating awareness on rights of consumers.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan and Karni, Sarpanch in their addresses asked the Forum to increase activities and aware masses on Consumer Protection Act.
Deepak Jandial and Deepak Kumar both from Central Body of Forum; Sunil Kumar, district secretary; Devinder Singh, president, Ram Natak Sabha, Kathua and children who participate in programme were honoured on the occasion.
The programme ended with recitation of Vande Matram.
