JAMMU, Sept 13: Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) for starting Skill Development Courses.
A handout stated that the selected students would get free training in courses like—Assistant Surveyor and Helper in Construction, Painter Courses, Clutch Specialist, Welding Technician, Brake Specialist, Forging Operator, Lathe Operator Courses, Installation Technician, LED Light Repair Technician, TV Repair Technician, Test and Repair Technician etc.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges thanked AICTE and said that because of this initiative of AICTE many students who could not pursue their Technical Education due to shortage of funds can now make their career in highly skilled courses.
Monika Rana, Head, Aryans Skill Development Centre said that the eligibility for these courses will vary from 5th to 12th pass or ITI.
It is pertinent to mention here that AICTE has granted approval for 10 courses after the completion of which employment would also be provided while the students would be eligible to work even in abroad.
