JAMMU, Apr 29: Army Institute of Law (AIL) today celebrated its Annual Day.
Lt Gen KJ Singh, Army Commander, Western Command and Patron-in-Chief, Army Institute of Law, was the chief guest at the function.
The function commenced with lighting of lamp by the chief guest.
Dr Tejinder Kaur, Principal Army Institute of Law, read out the Annual Report and highlighted the achievements. During his address, Maj Gen JT Chacko, Chairman, reiterated the vision to make institute as one of the best law institutions of the country by 2020. Students presented a spectacular cultural show enriched with Gidda and Bhangra. A documentary depicting activities and achievements was also screened.
The Army Commander distributed the prizes and trophies to the students who had excelled in various competitions like Debates and Sports events.
