JAMMU, July 5: A cycle rally was organized at wee hours as a part of road safety week celebrations, here today.
The rally was sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Jammu (IOC).
The rally was flagged-off by Air Cmde PE Patange YSM VM, Air Officer Commanding.
The rally was led by Gp Capt JV Sunil Kumar VM, Chief Engineering Officer.
120 Air Warriors participated in the event and covered major areas of Jammu like Peer Baba, Chattha Mode, Gadigarh, Rani Bagh, Airport road, Satwari Chowk, covering a distance of 8 kilometers.
Addressing the participants and the spectators after the culmination of the rally, Air Cmde PE Patange lauded the efforts of the participants for successful completion of the rally and encouraged them to take part in more and more such activities.
He stressed on road safety and wished all Air Warriors to have accident free year ahead.
