JAMMU, June 6: To bring a sigh of relief to the school children from the rising temperature and scorching heat in the region, the Air Force Station, Jammu is conducting a swimming coaching camp, here.
The Camp for the children below-12 was inaugurated by Group Captain Shashikant Pati, Chief Administrative Officer of Air Force Station Jammu on June 1, 2013.
Over 50 students including boys and girls ageing Under-12 years are participating in the Camp.
The AOC, Air Commodore PE Patange said that keeping in view the quality of the training camp, safety is paramount for these young children.
The children are being trained by the professionals including Vivek Magotra, NIS Patiala trained Swimming Coach from MA Sports Complex, Wg Cdr (Retd) Joshi, Services Swimming Coach and Corporal Bhandari, the life guard.
