Airtel Mobitude 2013 reveals mobile attitude of J&K

JAMMU, Dec 26: India’s leading telecommunications company, Bharti Airtel today released the Jammu & Kashmir specific findings of this year’s Airtel Mobitude survey – an annual survey reflecting the ‘mobile attitude’ of the Indian masses.
According to the findings this year, the popularity of the devotional content on the mobile phones has been increasing. Live feeds from the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu was one of the most accessed on Airtel Live Aartis. Ramzan was of the most celebrated occasions with a large number of devotees accessing Live feeds from Mecca and Haji Ali and subscribing to the Namaz, Sheri and Iftar alerts on their mobile.
Dharmender Khajuria, Chief Operating Officer, J&K, Bharti Airtel (India) said “Our annual survey Mobitude captures interesting trends of customer’s likings and usage habits every year bringing out a true reflection of their preferences. The verdict this year further establishes the fact that the mobile phone has today become a truly indispensible 24X7 companion for customers across age groups.”
Customers in Jammu & Kashmir loved the romantic number ‘Hum Tere Bin’ from Aashiqui-2 making it the most popular Hello Tune followed by the song ‘Jeene Laga Hoon’ from Ramiya Vastaviaya. Airtel’s flagship initiative to make Facebook accessible on USSD platform witnessed immense popularity amongst masses – a whopping 93 percent  existing customer base of this service are feature phone users.
