JAMMU, Nov 6: Ajay Kumar of Jammu claimed gold in 1500 Under-17 boys, while Tariq Hussain of Poonch and Sikander of Udhampur bagged silver and bronze medals respectively in the State Level Inter-District Athletic Meet, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at BSF School Paloura, today.
In Javelin Under-17 boys, Junaid-ul-Haq of Ganderbal, Moin Khan of Reasi and Aabiq Aftab of Kulgam bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Javelin Under-19 boys, Ishfaq Hussain of Baramulla, Rashid Hussain of Kishtwar and Irfan Kohli of Jammu claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In 1500 mtrs U-19 boys, Yash Paul Tinkoo of Jammu bagged gold, while the silver medal went to Yougal Kumar of Udhampur and the bronze was claimed by Shuvam Sharma of Kathua.
