JAMMU, May 1: Great enthusiasm was witnessed among the players and parents who attended the Chess Seminar organized by All J&K Chess Association at Hotel Nek, below Gummat, here today.
Roadmap to excel at National and international level was shown to all by Atul Kumar Gupta, President of All J&K Chess Association and father of Meenal Gupta, Commonwealth Gold medalist.
Atul shared the experience of being the coach of Indian Chess team two times to Moscow and one time to Bulgaria.
Lot of queries were raised by kids and parents and were answered by Mr Atul.
Parents thanked AJKCA to guide them properly and also hoped that Govt. provides Chess coach in Jammu and Srinagar.
Other members of Association present on the occasion included Baldev Raj, Kuljeet Jamwal , Bindu Pathania and Dr AS Bhatia.
