AJKYF meets Advisor, projects demands

JAMMU, Dec 23: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) delegation met Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmed Ganai here today and discussed various issues related to Kalakote area.
Arjun Sharma, Convener, AJKYF highlighted the issues of double-laning of Kalakote-Siot road which is a prolonged demand of the public of Kalakote, upgradation of Government High School Tatapani to High Secondary School which is one and only High School in the radius of 18 kilometers of the village Tatapani and its adjoining areas, declaration of Tatapani as tourist spot, upgradation of Middle School Panjah to High School and allotment of Veterinary Hospital/Centre to Panjah.
Sharma also raised federation’s demand of release of wages of the employees of Pahari Students Hostels and regularization of the employees of Jammu Division which is pending from last four years as such they are serving as daily wagers from last 15 years.
All J&K Youth Federation also highlighted that the J&K is lacking to provide required job opportunity to the educated youth of the State as such the false assurance made by the national political parties had demoralized the youth of J&K and the graph of unemployed is leaping up day by day.
He appealed to the Advisor to constitute and formulate an appropriate State Youth Policy covering all the three regions of the J&K.
Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Advisor to the Governor assured the federation that all the demands will be considered and appropriate steps will be taken for fulfilling the demands of the federation. Advisor directed Deputy Commissioner Rajouri to consider the demands and report the same to him.
Among others present were Sanjay Sandhu, Nakul Sharma, Shah Nawaz Khaki, Ankush Raina, Sahil Jamwal, Er Ankit Sharma, Rahul Dev Singh, Sourabh Dogra, Abheet Sangotra and Amit Sharma.
