KARGIL, Mar 26: President Anjuman e Jamiat ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil (AJUIAK), Shiekh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi today hailed the local administration and health workers for their tireless work to fight against spreading of Coronavirus.
Terming their service like ‘Jihad’ he said health workers in Kargil are leaving no stone unturned in fighting against the spread of Coronavirus.
“We express our gratitude to the CMO, other health workers and to the sweepers who are tirelessly working to safeguard our society,” Mohammadi said while addressing media persons, here.
He further said that people should avoid social and religious gatherings during this period as advised by the Prime Minister.
Shiekh Nazir Mohammadi also said that the Anjuman e Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia is ready to extend its support to district administration for which a list of volunteers have also been sent to the District Magistrate.
Talking about the requirement of essential commodities, he said that AJUIAK will figure out the list of poor and needy people and try to reach out to them for help.
He also thanked Union Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, besides Indian Embassy in Iran and Iranian Embassy in India for the evacuation of Ladakhi pilgrims and also demanded early evacuation of other stranded passengers.
