AKHNOOR, Jan 5: A delegation of Akhnoor Tigers Football Club here today met Sports Minister, Satish Sharma and put forth the demands of a football ground, coach and ground staff in Akhnoor area.
The delegation members said that such facilities will undoubtedly boost the football game in the area.
The delegation comprised of entire executive body including Akhnoor Tigers Football Club president, Pawan Bharti; vice president, Anshul Gupta; general secretary, Devendra Chandan; secretary, Vishab Bharti and Discipline Committee Member, Deepak Baral along with captains of the under-20 teams.
The delegation members handed over a football to the Sports Minister on behalf of the Club.
The Minister assured the delegation of all possible help to promote sports in Akhnoor area.
