JAMMU, Dec 29: Akhnoor Tigers Football Club organized a special event where they unveiled the jerseys for the upcoming 2025 tournament and announced the selection of players for the team. The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Dharmpul Gupta, President of Akhnoor Sports Club and Amit, who were present as chief guests.
The event aimed to inspire and encourage the youth to focus on sports, with President Dharmpul Gupta emphasizing the importance of sports for the country’s progress and the well-being of young individuals.
During the event, the Executive Committee of the Akhnoor Tigers Football Club was restructured. Pawan Bharti was appointed as the new President, Anshul Gupta as Vice President, Devinder Chandan as General Secretary, Chandan Sharma as Secretary, and Vishav Bharti as Treasurer. Additionally, a selection committee, discipline committee, purchase committee, coaching committee, and organizing committee were formed to manage various aspects of the club’s activities.
Veteran football players, including Ashok Mangotra, Ram Pal Sharma, Rajendra Sharma, and Vijay Kumar, were also present to show their support. The event concluded with the encouragement of the players for the upcoming tournament and the future of the club.
